equalizing access to 21st century educational technologies
Let’s narrow the achievement gap.
We can address Uganda’s 30% rural-urban student achievement deficit and provide all pupils with equal opportunity for academic success regardless of location. Help rural students in Uganda get Internet access and a digital science and literacy curriculum comparable to that of their urban counterparts.
More than 700 rural students can gain access to the Internet and digital books two days a week with just a single set of a laptop, projector, portable power generator, speakers and a modem.
Literacy instruction via guided reading of projected digital books will allow for a wider selection of picture and image rich interactive texts and delivery to more pupils and class grades than is possible with print books.
Please give the gift of 21st Century literacy and technology skills to a student, teacher or school in Uganda.
